Better Babies IPICC Websites for Families Parent Resources

Better Baby Care™ Indiana (BBCI) is part of a national movement to improve child care environments and support systems for parents and caregivers of infants and toddlers. BBCI has four components of focus including: safe and healthy care, family centered care, developmentally appropriate care, and support for caregivers, families and the community. The goal of BBCI is to promote the healthy development of babies, toddlers, and families throughout Indiana. The campaign seeks to work in collaboration with existing national, state and local organizations to bring attention to the issues and to improve the policies that govern the quality of care, parent education, family support, paid family leave and related policies.

Better Baby Care Indiana is a statewide initiative to promote the healthy development of babies, toddlers, and their families.

SIEOC Child Care Resource and Referral (CCR&R) employs an Infant and Toddler Specialist, who is available to offer consultation services and resources to both child care providers and families on a variety of issues that impact healthy care and development for infants and toddlers. Through Better Baby Care, the Infant and Toddler Specialist delivers numerous training opportunities specifically created for child care providers and administrators, using resources from nationally recognized experts in the field, such as ZERO TO THREE and West Ed.
